May 2022: TD Environmental grant

Making our Garden Grow

As part Calvary Green Pollinator Garden initiative, we are pleased to share that Calvary is the recipient of a TD Environmental grant, along with several local faith communities, facilitated through Green Sacred Spaces, London. Our plan includes obtaining plants and soil to expand our current garden and lumber to build raised herb boxes. A Master Gardener has provided advise on how a portion of our current lawn can be converted into a pollinator friendly garden. We are now seeking your help.

We are looking for:

      - A Rototiller owner who is willing to donate their time in early May to help remove sod from the lawn.

      - Donations of a garden hose for our rain barrels, watering cans, and garden tools.
