Purpose - To offer a community-based multi-faceted program; “Creative Hands and Minds Program In Our Neighbourhood.” The program enables seniors (55+) of London to age well by remaining active, creative, stimulated, and to socialize in an accessible and safe environment or connect virtually to the creative and/or activity-based programs offered weekly.

Foundation - The Calvary Visioning Initiative from 2018-2019 determined, based on the location and the underutilization of the building, the need to expand current programs and provide new initiatives for seniors in the London community.

Growth Goal - To make CHAMPION a neighbourhood senior-led and volunteer driven multi-faceted program. The various programs offered are open and welcoming to London’s diverse community. CHAMPION will provide opportunities for the aging population to be informed by various speakers on aging, health related and financial issues, and provide opportunities for seniors to come together in engaging and creative programs.
