Calvary Compass – January 30, 2024 - Calvary United Church, www.calvaryuc.ca
Dear Friends of Calvary,
It is almost the end of January already. Unfortunately for the skiers and those who like to go out sledding or skating, our snow has almost disappeared and the temperature is above zero.
Our Annual Congregational Meeting is Sunday, March 4th after our worship service. Our Congregational Discussion and Vote for Calvary becoming an Affirming Church will be after the worship service on Sunday, March 24th. Both meetings will be in-person and on Zoom. Members and adherents will be able to vote in-person and on Zoom at both meetings. There will be no proxy or before the date voting for either meeting.
Please be aware that the office will be closed this Friday, as Kim is away. Messages will be checked by Nancy Hind.
Jazz Vespers takes place on Wednesday, February 7th with guest vocalist Sonja Gustafson.
Worship Services are all live-streamed:
