Age Friendly Conference

The team of Rev. Kerry, Kris Goodman, Ruthanne McLagan and Mary Kannakko represented Calvary at the Age Friendly Conference on June 22nd. The team promoted CHAMPION and the age friendly programs taking place at Calvary and gave away 50 tea bags with Calvary contact information.

Herb Boxes

Herb boxes are now available on Calvary’s lawn off of Ridout Street and Garfield, near the sidewalk. Snip a few leaves for a tasty meal but leave the plants. Both have scissors in the box for snipping.

Billiard Buddies continue to meet on Tuesdays at 12:30. All are welcome!

 Meetings this week:

Psalm for the Week:

Psalm 30:  10-12

Hear, O God, and be gracious to me!

                    O God, be my helper!

You have turned my mourning into dancing,

you have taken my sackcloth and clothed

Me with joy, so that my soul shall praise you

                    and not be silent.

O my God, I will give thanks to you forever.

 Prayer for the Week:

God of the way and the truth,

guide our feet into the way of peace

and guard our words.

Forgive us when we have gone astray.

Create in us the assurance that you are

our solid ground and that you are with us

on our blessed journey.   Amen.
