Dear Friends of Calvary,

Soon our children and grandchildren will be back at school and all of the groups that use Calvary will be starting up again. Rev. Kerry will be back from vacation on September 3rd and conducting our worship service on Sunday, September 4th. We encourage everyone to return to in-person worship services and get involved in the various activities. CHAMPION will be starting on Wednesday, September 7th for those 55+ and soon our Committees will be starting to get together. For those who are concerned about Covid, we are still wearing our masks inside the church.

This week, the office will be closed from Friday, September 2nd to September 7th. It will re-open on Wednesday, September 7th. Kim Knowles will be returning to her usual hours of Tuesdays-Thursdays 9:00 am to 12 noon and 1:00 to 4:30 pm and Fridays 9:00 am -1:00 pm. 

The Calvary Compass will be back to weekly editions starting on Wednesday, September 7th. Please send any notices to Mary Kannakko (mkannakko@rogers.com) by Monday afternoons.

Thank you to Ruthanne McLagan and Karen and Bill Butt for covering our Worship Services while Rev. Kerry was on vacation. We are so blessed to have such talented worship leaders in our congregation.

 All articles, photos, inspirations, poems, reports, updates, letters to the editor, announcements, book reviews, etc. are welcome.

SENIOR CHOIR

 Senior Choir starts Thursday, September 8th.

 Choir practice takes place Thursday nights from 7:30 to 9 pm in the sanctuary.

If you like to sing, think about joining us. We are always looking for new members!

 CHAMPION is starting up again on Wednesday, September 7th. Along with all of the regular activities, we will be including a knitting and crocheting corner, to make warm items for those in need, a monthly speaker and new programmes to try out. The time is 1:00 - 3:30 pm and we welcome you to participate, to suggest ideas, and bring a friend or two.

Garden Dedication

JOIN US on Sunday, September 25th for Rev. Kerry's Garden Dedication and Blessing. Weather permitting, we plan on ending our worship service outside in the garden.
