Calvary Compass – January 10, 2023 - Calvary United Church, www.calvaryuc.ca
Dear Friends of Calvary,
Hopefully all of you have recovered from your Christmas and New Year’s holiday or events and looking forward to 2023 events and plans. The nights are getting shorter and the sun sometimes does peer out of the clouds to help brighten the day.

MITTEN TREE
Thank you to all who donated mittens, hats, scarves and socks for the London Community Chaplaincy. We collected 4 large garbage bags and a couple of smaller bags. Rev. Pam Cullen thanked us and said that the items were going to be distributed this week between the residents of Southdale and Limberlost Chaplaincies.
Annual Reports
The Annual Congregational Meeting is Sunday March 5th. Please write up your annual reports and send them to Kim by Friday, February 3rd so that she can collate them and prepare the booklet with the various reports. Please note that submissions should use the Arial font and 12 pt. size. Do not format with page numbers, headers or footers.
The Outreach committee would like to thank
the congregation for their incredible generosity during the fall and Christmas season. The amount of non-perishable items collected for the London Community Chaplaincy's food pantry was spectacular! The coat and winter clothing drive for ArkAid Mission gathered an amazing 25-30 large garbage bags full of warm clothes for our city's most vulnerable. This year's Advent project for YOU raised $2,965 to help support many of London's youth. Calvary's continued generosity is greatly appreciated by the Outreach committee and the wider community!
