Dear Friends of Calvary,
This week has several meetings for a variety of people to attend. One meeting of note for everyone is the UCW Meeting. If you have ever wanted to have a closer look at the Stained Glass windows and know their history and the underlying reasons for the choice of colours and content, come on Thursday afternoon. We all know how Ruthanne is able to show us the underlying story of a painting or stained glass window. Even if you are not a member of UCW, you are welcome to attend.

UCW MEETING
UCW will meet on Thursday, January 19th at 1:30 - 3:00 pm for a presentation about our stained glass windows. All are welcome to hear the presentation by Ruthanne and view the windows in-person or by zoom.
Fundscrip
This Sunday, January 22nd is a Fundscrip gift/shopping ordering date. For a full list of available cards go to http://www.fundscrip.com.

CHAMPION ART WORKSHOPS
CHAMPION will be hosting two acrylic painting workshops on January 18 and 25 from 1 to 3:30. Create a night sky painting and an owl. Cost is $5 per session and canvas, paint and brushes are supplied. To register, contact the church office. See poster attached.
We will also be having our regular activities for those who are not participating in the acrylic painting workshops.
Annual Reports
The Annual Congregational Meeting is Sunday, March 5th. Please write up your annual reports and send them to Kim by Friday, February 3rd so that she can collate them and prepare the booklet containing the various reports. Please note that submissions should use the Arial font and 12 pt. size. Do not format with page numbers, headers or footers.
LHSC E-Cards
Did you know that LHSC has a site where folks can send an e-card to patients in hospital?
It is very simple.
Just Google “LHSC ecard“ and it will take you directly to the site where there is a choice of cards and a place to put a personal message.
