Calvary Compass – July 3, 2024 - Calvary United Church, www.calvaryuc.ca  

 

Dear Friends of Calvary,

Summer holidays are here and we are reducing the Compass editions to just a few over July and August. In July, the next edition will be Wednesday, July 31st. We have not decided on which dates that it will come out in August yet. However we will definitely start back on a weekly edition on Wednesday, September 4th.

 

IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Rev. Kerry will be away July 8th to July 20th. If you are in need of Emergency Pastoral Care, please leave a message on the church's answering machine and the minister covering for Emergency Pastoral Care will call you.

  • Kim Knowles will be away July 19th to 29th. Nancy Hind will check for messages and the mail while Kim is away. Thank you Nancy!

  • CHAMPION will meet in July on the 10th and 24th and in August, the 7th and 21st.

  • Bible Study will take place via Zoom on July 4th and 25th.

  • During the summer, the Church Office is open Tuesdays to Fridays from 9:00 am to 12 Noon. It will be closed in the afternoons.

CHURCH GIVING ENVELOPES

Giving Envelopes for 2025 will be ordered in August. Please email the office at calvaryuc@execulink.com if you no longer require envelopes or if you would like to switch to PAR.

Please note that less envelopes will be ordered this year, since less are being used, so your envelope number might change.

 

London's Pride Parade is Sunday, July 21st. Contact Rev. Kerry or the office if you wish to participate.
