May Is PAR Month!
Don’t be PAR-alyzed. Now is a good time to PAR-ticipate in PAR!
PAR stands for Pre-Authorized Remittance and your church offerings are automatically taken from your bank account on the 20th of every month. It is very convenient and provides a reliable income for Calvary. Currently we have 52 participants on PAR.
If you are interested, contact Kim in the office.
Keep calm and PAR-ty on!
BAPTISM OR JOINING THE CHURCH
Thinking about being baptized or has someone in your family has asked you about baptism? Perhaps you have been thinking about becoming a member at Calvary or transferring your United Church membership to Calvary from another congregation.
Rev. Kerry will be glad to talk to you about either of those topics. He has scheduled June 16th (Father's Day) for baptism(s) and welcoming new members to Calvary.
Please contact the office at 519-434-5526 or Rev. Kerry if you are interested and he will be in touch with more information.
CELEBRATING 100 YEARS OF DEEP, BOLD, DARING DISCIPLESHIP
Join United Church of Canada members and adherents from across the country for a worship service to kick-off the year-long celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the United Church of Canada. The 100th Anniversary kick-off service will be held at Metropolitan United Church in downtown Toronto on June 9th at 4 pm.
No need to worry about traveling to downtown Toronto as the worship service will be live-streamed on https://youtube.com/@unitedchurchcda
Let us join together from coast to coast as we begin the celebrations to commemorate the milestone anniversary of our denomination.
GATHERING ON THE GREEN
Join your friends and Rev. Kerry as they reach out to the many folks that will be attending the " Gathering on the Green" this coming Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. There is still time to volunteer to help "staff" our information table. If interested contact the office or leave a message for Rev. Kerry. We always have a great time as we encourage others to join in what we do at Calvary and how we serve the community in Jesus' name.

Psalm 139: 1 -4 (NRSVUE translation)
O Lord, you have searched me and known me.
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from far away.
You search out my path and my lying down
and are acquainted with all of my ways.
Even before a word is on my tongue.
O Lord, you know it completely.

Your face shines upon your creation including each of us.
